With February being the month of Valentine’s Day, we thought that we would share the love with you and give you a special recipe that you can share with your loved ones. This delightful dessert recipe with definitely get you in the mood for love!
Chocolate Lover's Mousse
1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin
1 tablespoon cold water
2 tablespoons boiling water
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1 cup whipping cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
shaved chocolate
liquor to flavor
• In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the cold water and let them stand for one minute.
• Add the boiling water and stir well until gelatin is dissolved.
• In a separate bowl mix the sugar, cocoa, whipping cream and vanilla extract together. You can also add the liquor at this stage if you choose to have a little added kick to your mousse.
• Beat at a medium speed, making sure to scrape the bottom of the mixing bowl regularly, until the mixture is stiff.
• Add the gelatin mixture to the main bowl and beat all contents until well blended.
• Spoon the mixture into dessert dishes or champagne glasses.
• Sprinkle with shaved chocolate.
• Chill for at least one hour before serving.

1 1/2 oz Vodka
1/2 oz Chocolate liqueur
1/2 oz Cherry liqueur
3/4 oz Heavy cream
Fill your glass with ice, and then add the vodka, chocolate liqueur, cherry liqueur and cream. Shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and enjoy!
